A visual identity system developed for Melbourne International Student Week, celebrating the city’s cultural mosaic through illustration. Drawing from memories of my own student years in Melbourne, the artwork reimagines the city’s icons — the vintage tram, Flinders Street Station, and the Yarra River — as symbols of encounter and movement.
Inspired by Matisse’s La Danse, the circular composition becomes a metaphor for connection — a rhythm of shared belonging that continues to evolve each year the assets are reused.
此系列视觉资产为 墨尔本国际留学生周 所设计，以插画语言庆祝这座城市的多元文化与归属感。画面取材于墨尔本最具象征性的城市景观：穿行于CBD的复古电车、守望城市的弗林德斯街车站，以及流动的雅拉河——它们构成了我十年前初到墨尔本时最深的记忆。视觉灵感来自马蒂斯的《舞蹈》，我将其中的圆形构图转译为现代墨尔本的节奏：象征世界各地的学生在此相遇、共舞、连接。
整个视觉系统以手绘的情感温度结合现代设计的结构思维，实现了灵活应用与连续两年的延展使用——证明设计既可以抒情，也能具备策略性与可持续性。
